As editor-in-chief of American ELLE, Nina Garcia continues to flaunt her ability to drop a selection of A-list talent as the magazine’s cover stars. Last year, everyone from Penélope Cruz and Nicole Kidman to Anya Taylor-Joy and Lisa (of Blackpink) fronted the Hearst-owned fashion title. To kick-start 2025 on a high, Garcia dropped Pamela Anderson as the magazine’s digital cover star, and welcomes none other than Lady Gaga onto the cover of ELLE for February 2025. The American singer-songwriter and actress (who will release her eighth studio album on March 7, 2025) makes a return as an ELLE cover girl, five years after her last. Gaga poses before the lens of Mario Sorrenti for the occasion, with Pau Avia on styling duties. In the cover photograph, Gaga shoots a look down Sorrenti’s lens wearing a look from Alessandro Michele’s Spring 2025 Valentino collection.
