Ester Expósito Poses as You’ve Never Seen Her Before on the Cover of Vogue Spain

As Vogue Spain’s Head of Editorial Content, Inés Lorenzo has mastered the art of welcoming both local and international talent as the magazine’s cover stars. Throughout 2024, international figures like Amelia Gray and Tilda Swinton, and homegrown talents like Penélope Cruz and Bad Gyal have covered the magazine. The latest Spanish sensation to be endorsed by Lorenzo as cover star is Ester Expósito, who fronts the October 2024 edition of Vogue Spain. The Spanish actress ditches her blonde hair in favor of a black blunt bob (and bleached eyebrows) in the intriguing and minimalist cover shot, lensed by Felicity Ingram. Expósito crouches down on the studio floor, styled by Chloe Grace in a look from Nicolas Ghesquière’s 10-year Louis Vuitton collection for Fall 2024.

“Please… Vogue should close ASAP. What a terrible picture and the styling is gross (even more so when they are talking about ‘boho’),” stated Creative.

“She’s one of the most beautiful women on earth. How did Vogue Spain manage to make her look terrible?” shrieked an unforgiving zacatecas570.

“No clue who Ester Expósito is but I do commend Inés Lorenzo on endorsing local Spanish talent. I’m all for Vogue giving celebrities a new look via their covers but this feels a dad too much. The dark bob and bleached eyebrows is not a good look. A quick Google search tells me ELLE Spain got it right with Ester in 2020,” voiced vogue28.

Not everyone, however, was left so unsatisfied. “I kinda like it. I was bored of her image. It’s refreshing even if they make her look like this,” confessed Xone.
