The advertising campaigns of Staurt Weitzman don’t quite hit like they once used to. Even more so when compared to the time the New York-based footwear label would commission (the now-disgraced) Mario Testino to photograph a bevy of supermodels (often rotating between Gisele Bündchen and Kate Moss). The last time a campaign from Weitzman truly commanded our attention was Spring 2020 with Serena Williams. This season, the powers that be at Weitzman are going all out with a splashy and buzz-worthy campaign for Fall 2024. Captured by Ned Rogers, Christy Turlington, Issa Rae, Lucy Liu, Aly Raisman and Ming Xi are introduced as Stuart Weitzman’s new global ambassadors. The five multi-hyphenate women pose within Rogers’ sleek studio setting and star in the brand’s accompanying “How Lovely To Be A Woman” film.

“Lucy Liu!” heralded forum member MDNA the moment the campaign struck.
“The shots of Christy, Issa and Ming are lovely!” Kite chimed in.
“These are beautiful. That dress on Christy does look amazing,” admired tomtakesphotos.
“The simplicity takes me back to those Mario Testino campaigns I used to love from Stuart Weitzman. These feel a little over-processed in comparison but I’m a fan,” vogue28 voiced.
