Therefore, you can imagine our absolute delight to see Claudia Schiffer turn up as Vogue Arabia’s September 2024 cover star. Manuel Arnaut shares our love for supermodels, having welcomed the likes of Cindy Crawford and Iman onto the Arabian fashion title in the past. This month, across a trio of collectable covers, Claudia takes to Kayt Jones’ photographic duo and is styled by Barbara Baumel in an array of tailored looks from Karl Lagerfeld, Nina Ricci and Sportmax.

WAVES wasn’t best impressed either. “I find all covers underwhelming, considering Vogue Arabia’s glamorous take on most of their cover subject. This kinda falls a wee flat,” they disapproved.
“It’s all just very stiff, which is such a shame because I love me some Claudia Schiffer and enjoy Vogue Arabia on the regular. I’m putting the blame on Kayt Jones, whose photography is just feels very flat and amateur. For me, the second cover with the Nina Ricci is the strongest,” voiced vogue28.
