There is no denying Kendall Jenner remains one of 2024’s most prominent of models. After all, brands like Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger and MO&Co. have raced to welcome the all-American beauty as the face of their various collections. Jenner also graced the covers of both American and French Vogue within the space of two short months. As a result, it should come as no surprise to see Tory Burch call upon Kendall Jenner to become the face and embodiment of the new Sublime fragrance. Burch commissioned a photographic duo who are no strangers to pointing their lens toward the model: Mert Alas & Marcus Piggott. In the campaign image, Kendall gazes down the lens of the creative twosome, clutching an oversized bottle of the vibrant floral leather scent (inspired by a leather bag the designer founded in Antigua).
Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“This can’t possibly be the official campaign shot, right?” Lola701 questioned immediately.
“Wow, this is the next level of boredom,” voiced pradn. “It’s like the perfume launch in the local mall. I cannot believe this was shot by Mert & Marcus!”
“Is Kendall Jenner a M&M exclusive or do they supply her enough Photoshop to make her feel good?” forum member fenty wondered.
“I can’t with this unoriginal insipid giant perfume bottle,” laughed TaylorBinque.
Vogue28 most definitely wasn’t buying it either. “For a fragrance called ‘Sublime’, this standard of advertising campaign imagery sure is far from it. Dreadful beyond belief,” he voiced.
“If I were Tory Burch, I’d ask for my money back – from M&M and from Kendall,” stated woemwoem.
