In Saint Laurent (Obvi), Anja Rubik Takes to the July/August 2024 Cover of Vogue Turkey

There’s something happening at Vogue Turkey HQ, and we’re 100% here for it. Out of nowhere, the magazine has upped their game immensely. Covers starring the likes Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Grace Elizabeth, Beauïse Genç, Lila Moss, Stella Maxwell and Hana Jirickova have ultimately had our undivided attention here at theFashionSpot. Debora Zakuto adds Anja Rubik to that impressive list of cover girls, with the unveiling of the magazine’s double July/August 2024 installment. Captured by Chris Colls, the Polish model is reunited with the Australian fashion photographer for Vogue Turkey’s latest. Styled by Sandy Armeni, Rubik gazes down Colls’ lens in the sultry cover shot. Naturally, of course, the longtime friend and muse of Anthony Vaccarello wears a dress from Saint Laurent (a brand to which Anja is an unofficial brand ambassador).

Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:

“Anja Rubik looks stressed out. Not sultry at all,” stated oaklee91.

“Saint Laurent could have paid for something better…” shared DK92.

Urban Stylin added: “Lately the work of Anja Rubik ooks the same, like some Saint Laurent campaign or lookbook.”

“It’s a never-ending Zara shoot for Anja Rubik. Always the same empty stare, same set of poses, same no make-up look,” avonlea002 critiqued.

Yet not everyone felt the same way. “All of this is just very up my street, so I 100% approve. Anja Rubik, Chris Colls, Saint Laurent… tick, tick, tick! For me, this is one of the strongest Vogue covers I’ve seen in the past month or so. Nice to see Chris Colls photographing in color, and I love the sultry mood,” defended vogue28.

“Given the dire state of most Vogue editions’ covers this summer, Anja Rubik is a welcome sight,” KoV shared.

“Anja does her thing, and it hardly ever goes wrong. I can’t help but enjoy this,” confessed aracic.
