Madame Figaro has never had our undivided attention as much, as it has enjoyed over the past week or so. Can you blame us? The French supplement to the Saturday edition of the daily newspaper Le Figaro has bestowed upon us a cover featuring none other than modeling royalty Naomi Campbell last week, and now throws Eva Herzigova our way. What more could we ask for? Editing duo Nicole Picart and Blanche Rival welcome the Czech beauty onto Madame Figaro‘s haute couture special, complete with photography from Jean-Baptiste Mondino, Across a trio of collectable covers, the face of Saint Laurent and current Harper’s Bazaar Spain cover star showcases Fall 2024 creations from Christian Dior, Chanel and Dolce & Gabbana.
Read below the reactions of theFashionSpot’s forum members:
“Eva Herzigova never appealed to m. I always accepted a lot of her work, but her face in that photo, Jesus…” called out forum member DK92 the moment cover one (above) dropped.
“She looks uncomfortable,” Kishan pointed out.
“…and overly retouched,” forum member Xone replied.
Blueorchid shared: “I like Eva Herzigova, but I find her latest work to be… difficult to enjoy. I can’t put my finger on why.”
“I can echo what everyone else is pointing out,” Bertrando3 agreed. “Eva is a good technical model, and she has been working for decades so she must be respected for her supermodel status. However, having said that, she isn’t blowing us away here.”
“Despite the obvious use of Photoshop, I don’t mind this,” defended vogue28. “Not groundbreaking by any means, but I can appreciate the simplicity of the shoot and how clean and direct everything is.”
