More often than not, American ELLE is one of the best magazines of the month and is regularly on our must-have list when paying our local newsstand a visit. Under the direction of Nina Garcia, the magazine stays winning. Basically, Garcia has an impeccable taste in cover stars and the talent she commissions to profile them. Mario Sorrenti is proving to be somewhat a favorite of Garcia of late, who has been called upon to profile the likes of Vittoria Ceretti and Nicole Kidman. HoYeon Jung is the latest to be profiled by the famed Italian-American photographer for ELLE, who is unveiled as the fashion glossy’s August 2024 cover star. On styling duties is Nicola Formichetti, who dresses the South Korean model and actress in a look from Nicolas Ghesquière’s Louis Vuitton collection for Fall 2024. After all, Jung has been a firm fave of Ghesquière’s from the get-go. She became a Louis Vuitton brand ambassador in 2021 and opened the revered designer’s Fall 2024 10th anniversary showcase during Paris Fashion Week back in March.
