Condé Nast first announced the launch of its 28th international edition of Vogue back in June 2023, and we’re now three whole issues into Vogue Adria. Here on theFashionSpot, we’ve found the magazine to be very… hit and miss. Milan Djacic welcomed Nataša Vojnović as the title’s inaugural cover girl. Djacic gave us Malika Louback on last month’s coevr and bestows upon us Abby Champion for May 2024. The all-American beauty and current face of Swarovski poses for photographer Thomas Giddings for the occasion, standing against a vintage motor in the stark and dramatic cover shot. Styled by Coquito Cassibba, Abby (who swept up at the Sportmax, Dolce & Gabbana and Acne Studios shows during the Fall 2024 season) wears a little black dress from Gucci.

“So… basic. If i knew how to drive I would’ve gotten inside that car and drove as far away I could get!” shrieked a far from impressed matheus_s.
“Too dark and to depressing. Abby Champion is a stunning girl, they should’ve toned it down. I am happy for Abby snatching the cover, but sad for Vogue Adria. This is another disappointment of a cover,” said forum member BelkaniStaCouture.
“If only the styling of the cover was better!” stated Wolkfolk. “I really like the mood and Abby Champion looks absolutely gorgeous.”
Vogue28 was very much a fan, commenting: “I like this, waaaaay way more than I did Vogue Adria’s first two covers. Not too familiar with Thomas Giddings’ work but I love the photography here, the styling, the fact it’s Abby Champion on the cover – every element in all honesty. A step in the right direction for Vogue Adria, IMO.”
In complete agreement was crmsn: “It’s definitely the only cover that I’ve liked from Vogue Adria, if I am honest. Abby’s a strong model, and the plain white text works in the dark monochromatic setup.”
