Throughout 2023 alone, Lorenzo has welcomed everyone from Anok Yai to Amber Valletta and Devyn Garcia to Grace Elizabeth as cover girls. Helping round out the festivities and welcomed onto the December 2023 edition as cover girl is Sara Caballero. Via the lens of Coco Capitán, the Chilean-Spanish beauty who has taken the modeling industry by storm ever since stepping out onto the Christian Dior catwalk during the Cruise 2024 presentation, is captured dripping in head-to-toe Chanel in the portrait cover image, as chosen for the occasion by stylist Alejandro Gómez Palomo.
Vogue Spain’s latest completely divided members of theFashionSpot forums. “I like the color scheme but OMG that font,” exclaimed kokobombon the moment the cover struck.
“Horrible text indeed. Ugh, reminds me off to the pandemic kids issue of Vogue Italia. The portrait itself is OK,” added ivano.
Urban Stylin ultimately agreed, echoing: “Beautiful color scheme even if Caballero’s expression is not too exciting. The font ruins everything!”
“Every time Vogue comes together with Coco Capitán, the result is never good,” voiced caioherrero.
“There’s nothing appealing about this cover, including the model. Also, who does Coco Captain know, that keeps giving her fashion work?” asked a dumbfounded mepps.
“I’m a fan of Coco Capitán’s style, but I’m sure other pictures would’ve made a better cover,” Petrus said.
Vogue28 soon commented: “Not mad at the art direction with this one – I like the Vogue masthead color choice and how it complements the Chanel. However, it’s all just so gloomy, downbeat and uninviting for what’s supposed to be such a joyous and festive month.”
