Editors practically trip over themselves to invite Rosalía onto their respective magazines, but perhaps no one gushes over the Spanish singer-songwriter more than Vogue Spain’s Inés Lorenzo. In such a short space of time, the 31-year-old hit maker now has a total of 6 Vogue covers under belt, including an appearance on American Vogue. Lorenzo invites Rosalía back onto the Spanish fashion bible for a fourth time with the unveiling of the glossy’s November 2023 edition, just one whole year after her last. Photographed and styled by Katie Burnett, Rosalía stuns in a striking and captivating black and white cover photograph, captured topless while holding two white dove birds and dripping in some serious Cartier bling.
The cover ultimately divided members of theFashionSpot forums. “Wow!” heralded newton91.
“This is just… wow! I think this is the best Rosalía magazine cover,” raved iamleoo.
“I love it! This is her second Vogue Spain cover in a year, well deserved,” JPineapple praised.
Also very much a fan was YohjiAddict, commenting: “Very Hitchcock’s The Birds meets Man Ray, I think it’s the best cover I’ve seen her featured. It’s good to see some real fashion photography after witnessing that pedestrian black hole of nothingness that is British Vogue.”
“I’m loving it. Eerie in a good way,” admired oaklee91.
Not everyone, however, shared the same sentiments. “This girl is terrible, I don’t even know how they manage to force those growls to be good music. And not unlike her music, the cover is terrible too!” exclaimed DK92.
“I’m with you,” replied vogue28 in agreement. “Not a Rosalía fan whatsoever and have yet to see even a half-decent magazine with her on the cover. Not impressed by this!”
