The rumor mill has been swirling regarding who British Vogue would pick as its March 2022 cover star. Names like Rihanna and Linda Evangelista have been circulating. But in the end the magazine selected none other than Naomi Campbell. Exactly three years after her last appearance, the supermodel is back covering the British fashion bible formally introducing her adorable baby daughter to the world. In the sweet, fierce and fabulous first image, Naomi wears Valentino courtesy of stylist Joe McKenna for the shot by forum favorite Steven Meisel. For cover number two (after the jump), the legendary model goes solo sporting a bodysuit and leggings from Burberry.
“Stunning! So happy to see Naomi back on British Vogue. It’s a really simple but striking cover — can’t wait to see this in person,” raved LastNight.
“The first one is very stoic, like a protective mother, almost painting-like,” noted THD96.
“Beautiful image,” approved honeycombchild.

“A little underwhelmed by the cover, but she looks gorgeous,” confessed Mr Yayo.
“Naomi looks different, unlike herself. And though it’s a strong image, it also feels cold for a portrait of a mother and child,” voiced KINGofVERSAILLES.
“Everything seems…off? Cover layout is not good, the text gets lost. The gray background is a snoozefest. They could’ve done something different,” critiqued thiago:).
“The cover is only interesting because Naomi is holding her baby. Everything else is Meisel 101. His assistant could have shot this,” declared mepps.
“I’m officially at the point where I struggle to get excited for these Meisel x U.K. Vogue covers. It’s all too formulaic. The lighting, the retouching, the poses…it’s like one long editorial from month to month,” complained WinstonH20.
