Anna Wintour appears to be switching things up at American Vogue. The magazine’s cover shoots are starting to move away from the norm that has become synonymous with the magazine. After HoYeon Jung‘s surprise cover last month, the publication continues to select new talent to capture its cover subjects like first-timer Carlijn Jacobs. The Dutch photographer shoots none other than Kim Kardashian for Vogue‘s March 2022 cover marking the latter’s third appearance on the American fashion bible three years after her last appearance. Dressed by stylist Carlos Nazario, Kim works a creation from Loewe’s Spring 2022 collection in the sleek and futuristic cover image.
The end result went down as a treat with our forum members. “Kimberly! Wow, this is quite spectacular. And it’s so good to see Carlijn Jacobs shooting the U.S. Vogue cover. So 2022 must be the year of revamp for American Vogue?” praised aracic.
