US InStyle February 2022 : Gal Gadot by Giampaolo Sgura

Gal Gadot’s InStyle February 2022 Cover Completely Misses the Mark

Gal Gadot frequently greets us down at newsstands. More often than not, the Israeli actress photographs beautifully fronting the likes of W, Vanity Fair, ELLE and American Vogue. Now Gal takes to the cover of InStyle for February 2022. It marks Gal’s debut as an InStyle cover star following in the footsteps of Reese Witherspoon, Zendaya and Anya Taylor-Joy. In the retro-inspired cover image captured by Giampaolo Sgura, Gal poses in a striped Courrèges Spring 2022 dress chosen by stylist Elizabeth Stewart.

Gal’s latest flopped hard in the eyes of our forum members. “Here we go again with the faux-feminist ‘Badass Women’ nonsense. She’s not much of an actress, but Gal Gadot is incredibly beautiful. Shame this photo is so ordinary and forgettable,” declared KINGofVERSAILLES.

“Gal is beautiful and charismatic yet you produce this?” asked kokobombon.

“Oh, what a missed opportunity,” an underwhelmed crmsnsnwflks pointed out.

“It’s weird how Gal is unholy gorgeous to me in motion yet I don’t really ever see it in her magazine appearances,” said cestmagique.

“It takes actual effort to take someone as classically beautiful as Gal and come up with these results,” added Melancholybaby.

“It’s just so vanilla. Outdated type of content Mario Testino put out on autopilot for American Vogue back in 2014. It’s boring, it’s time to step up the game and introduce something different at last,” voiced aracic.

“Someone on social media thought this was Victoria Beckham and now it’s all I’m able to see myself! The beauty styling is all sorts of awful, that flat hair is an abomination. I’m usually down for something retro, but mixed with Giampaolo Sgura’s photography, this just ain’t it,” proclaimed vogue28.
