Edward Enninful has been at the helm of British Vogue for exactly four years. His December outings have always been all-out fashion extravaganzas with either models of the moment, Emma Watson or Beyoncé gracing the British fashion bible’s end-of-the-year covers. The magazine gifts us none other than Lady Gaga for December 2021. Despite having three American Vogue appearances under her belt, this marks her long-awaited debut on a British Vogue cover. In true celebratory fashion, the pop queen turned Oscar-nominated actress wears a piece from Schiaparelli’s Fall 2021 Haute Couture collection for the 80s-inspired cover image taken by forum favorite Steven Meisel.
Members of our forums felt their prayers have been answered. “Very 80s. So unexpected to see Meisel working with Gaga. I like it,” approved mikel.
“Love it! Very festive!” heralded HodanChloe.
“It is indeed so festive! And seeing Gaga finally being shot by Meisel is just a total dream,” echoed [Piece Of Me].
