Zendaya Goes Glam on British Vogue’s October 2021 Cover

Edward Enninful continues to secure the crème de la crème for the covers of British Vogue. This year’s spectacular lineup of cover stars includes Gemma Chan, Margot Robbie, Billie Eilish along with Thandiwe Newton. Now Zendaya is added to the impressive list (as speculated on our forums). Marking her fourth Vogue cover appearance, the American actress and star of Dune dials up the glamour wearing a Saint Laurent Fall 2021 number selected by Law Roach for the captivating cover shot snapped by Craig McDean.

The cover divided our forums. “Perhaps my most favorite Zendaya cover to date! For once, Law Roach’s styling doesn’t overpower and the autumnal glamour just feels oh so right for an October cover,” approved vogue28.

“Zendaya looks beautiful and it’s definitely one of her best covers so far!” echoed aracic.

“I think she looks absolutely amazing!” raved charles01.

Everyone else, however, was majorly underwhelmed. “She’s a beautiful woman and I like the warm tones, but this photo feels too basic and a bit like an outtake to me,” voiced KINGofVERSAILLES.

“No to the Model 101 pose. No to that Saint Laurent outfit. And styled by Law. No, thank you,” proclaimed THD96.

“The natural light automatically took me back to her U.S. Vogue cover by Tyler Mitchell. Can’t say I’m excited by this cover either way, it’s neither here nor there really. The hair especially looks unfinished…” WinstonH20 pointed out.

“Not good at all. Law? Really? Edward is allowing a personal stylist to style the cover?” asked caioherrero.

Benn98 couldn’t agree more: “Can’t believe Edward allowed Law Roach to style a cover. As the second most powerful editor in fashion, that’s a huge blunder.”
