Vogue Australia November 2019 : Bella Hadid by Daniel Jackson

Bella Hadid Is a Victim of Bad Styling on Vogue Australia’s November 2019 Cover

Australia continues to land big cover stars, like Rihanna, Kendall Jenner, Billie Eilish, Elle Macpherson and Margot Robbie. Following an utterly beautiful Hailey Bieber contribution to newsstands last month, Australian Vogue now welcomes Bella Hadid to its cover for November 2019. Marking her second appearance on the Aussie title (and her second Vogue cover this month), Bella, wearing a look from Louis Vuitton’s Cruise 2020 collection picked by Christine Centenera, was photographed by Daniel Jackson before a stark white backdrop for the cover shot.

Members of our forums weren’t exactly elated. “Zero redeeming features with this cover. Awful hair (such a ‘dirty’ looking shade), awful clothes, awful art direction. It takes a special skill to ruin a Bella Hadid cover,” declared Benn98.

“She looks like Johnny Depp’s character in Dead Man. Terrible cover, though. That’s got to be one of the ugliest pieces of clothing I’ve ever seen,” proclaimed MyNameIs.

“The hat makes her look like some kind of confused country musician. Yeah, no,” laughed Nomar.

Also quick to call out the questionable getup was mikel: “What on earth is she wearing?”

“Anything Bella does is a hit for me, but the styling here is so distracting and hideous. The hat is too big, the shoulder mess left me speechless, that big front zipper is ugly and cheap,” said aracic.

“I am glad for Bella. Under all these atrocious clothes, this talentless styling and vapid photography, you can still see that she is beautiful,” defended dontbeadrag.
