We have been hooked on Marie Claire for some time now partly due to the fact the title has been delivering exactly what we want from a fashion magazine. Just last month, Marie Claire brilliantly gave the cover to Sandra Oh, Thandie Newton and Elisabeth Moss while previous covers saw the likes of Penélope Cruz and Kerry Washington. The publication’s keeping its stellar track record going by enlisting Charlize Theron for June 2019. Shot by Thomas Whiteside and styled by Joseph Errico, the ever-gorgeous actress shows off her new brunette ‘do wearing a look from Christian Dior’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection (because what other brand would she wear?).
The cover got a thumbs-up from our forum members. “I love this woman. Only she could elevate this basic cover,” raved mepps.
“She can model better than most of the models out there! Her face is perfect here for a cover,” approved an equally impressed apple.
“Don’t think this would work with anyone else. She brings this cover to life,” RMDV echoed.

“Stunning! What a gorgeous portrait,” complimented MON.
Sharing the same enthusiasm was vogue28: “Yet another terrific cover from American Marie Claire. The cover image of Charlize is fab, effortlessly simple, straightforward and direct. The art direction doesn’t distract from the image, either, and each element complements one another perfectly. It also feels rather 90s/00s, which I won’t complain about, either.”
“Gorgeous cover, but I just can’t associate dark hair with her, she’s one of Hollywood’s ultimate blondes,” noted Srdjan.
“Would have been stunning if she were blonde,” mentioned jal718.
