After the unmentionable Nicole Kidman offering back in October, Marie Claire had no other option but to up the ante. Since then, the American glossy has delivered the goods: First came Kerry Washington photographing like a dream, followed by a beautiful and serene Camila Cabello cover to see us through the holiday season. Now, as Marie Claire continues to solidify its return to form, it gives us Penélope Cruz on the February 2019 issue, shot by Nico Bustos. The Spanish actress and Chanel brand ambassador sports a head full of cascading curls, a smoldering makeup look and a Chanel jacket worn around her shoulders, styled by Joseph Errico.
Of course the cover is gorgeous…should we expect anything less from Penelope? Members of our forums agree. “A very simple yet so striking cover can only be done with someone like Penelope! What a beautiful woman,” praised Srdjan.
