It is now inevitable that the daughters of supermodels become supermodels themselves. Take Kaia Gerber, for example, who continues to dominate not only runways across the globe but newsstands worldwide and advertising campaigns for just about every major fashion brand — all thanks to mother Cindy Crawford (and, of course, her good looks). We’re now expecting the industry to be besotted with Kate Moss’ mini-me, Lila Grace Moss, as she becomes the face of Marc Jacobs Beauty. The 16-year-old was accompanied by her mother on set for her modeling debut. Photographed by David Sims and styled by Katie Grand, it’s plain to see that Lila has inherited her mother’s looks and natural charm for the camera in the simple portrait shot.
Naturally, our forum members couldn’t wait to share their opinions. “This gives me Gigi’s little cousin from Holland vibes,” described Morgane07 straight away.
“Nice image. She is starting very well,” approved ghostwriter10549.
“Love the shot! It’s the movement of the headscarf, Sims is a genius to concentrate so much creativity in one landscape profile. Looks to me like a modern take on an ancient Dutch painting, or slightly less obvious challenge to Meisel’s iconic shot of Coco Rocha eating a peach. As for the girl, I’m surprised Kate allowed her to model this young. Always sensed that Kate never fully backed Lottie [Moss], but I’m assuming it will be different with Lila. Kaia has all the reason to be worried about this,” commented Benn98.

“I love this, and loved Marc’s little story of his relationship with Lila Grace that he posted on IG to accompany the campaign image. David Sims’ beauty campaigns for Marc Jacobs all have a very Steven Meisel-like quality, and I’m here for that too!” vogue28 raved.
Woemwoem wasn’t too impressed, however: “I’m sorry but if you have to put on that much make-up and then cover up a quarter of your face with your hand, you really are not a model, much less a model for a beauty campaign!”
