By now, we’re pretty used to coming across one of the Hadid sisters whenever we pass by the newsstand. We’re only halfway through 2018 and Gigi has already appeared on the covers of Vogue Australia, Vogue Italia, Vogue Japan, British Vogue, Vogue Germany and US Harper’s Bazaar. V Magazine is the latest glossy to jump on the Hadid bandwagon, giving up its #114 Fall Preview issue to Gigi (her second appearance for the title). The current face of Moschino delivers a trio of adventurous covers photographed by Mario Sorrenti and styled by George Cortina while making us want to suddenly do some extreme sports.
Our forum members aren’t always kind to Gigi’s many appearances, but this time she receives rave reviews. “Hey, at least it’s something experimental, opulent and downright fabulous. Not necessarily a fashion photograph but I’ll take it,” commented dodencebt the moment the covers dropped.
“This looks better than her Olympic-theme cover story for US Vogue, we don’t really see her face though,” MDNA added.

“Definitely not what I was expecting at all! The cover is so refreshing, not only for V, but also for Gigi and Sorrenti. I’m really not the biggest fan of his work, but this looks great,” applauded Benn98.
Also pleasantly surprised by the outcome was SLFC: “It’s not fashion, but I think can put that aside to say that I think this is awesome!”
“Actually, I like the covers and editorial. It’s giving me some fresh air. I was getting tired of those Inez & Vinoodh covers with gray backgrounds,” voiced jorgepalomo.
“Finally something different, not sure I would pick it up though,” Miss Dalloway shared.
Zposen most definitely wasn’t here for it, saying, “Gigi is so overexposed… nothing she does is exciting anymore!”
