Naomi Campbell Proves Her Legendary Status on Town & Country’s March Cover

Who better than Naomi Campbell to front a magazine cover with the words ‘legendary style’ splashed across the top? Town & Country gets its cover subject just right for March 2017, enlisting the legendary model herself to lend her fierce beauty and attitude to the glamorous cover shoot. Photographed by Max Vadukul, Naomi wears a stunning navy blue Carolina Herrera gown, proving she’s still amongst the best in the business.

Surprisingly, the majority of our forum members expected a whole lot more. “Every now and then Naomi can hit it out the park but for the most part, I find her work incredibly boring. It’s like editors are happy to have Naomi but just don’t bother doing anything with her,” critiqued A.D.C at once.

“First impression: a Greek goddess eating grapes, but a bit too conceited for my taste. I miss some freshness,” added an underwhelmed Nymphaea.

“Correct me if I’m wrong but I’m pretty sure this is Naomi’s first ever Town & Country cover, and they’ve probably only had a handful of black girls on their cover in its entire history. It’s the best I think she’s looked in a while, as sometimes her cheeks have so much filler, she looks cartoonish,” pointed out samoanceleb.

Benn98 wasn’t exactly a fan either: “It’s a tad predictable with ‘fearless glamour,’ all that gold, and the fierce pose, but it still works. Also, she isn’t nearly as overexposed as her peers.”

“Naomi looks great but the layout is a little too Ocean Drive mag for me,” described Lucien122.

“I too think this is uneventful and dull… certainly not Naomi’s best. She was just featured in a recent issue of GQ Germany and I thought those pictures were fabulous — best she’s looked in ages. A shame this shoot for Town & Country fell flat,” said vogue28.
