The Unstoppable Gigi Hadid Lands Her Second British Vogue Cover

Should we really be surprised to see Gigi Hadid on yet another magazine cover? Last year’s international model of the year is off to a successful start for 2017, having already landed major campaigns for Stuart Weitzman, DSquared2, Fendi, Max Mara and Moschino this season — not to mention the launch of her newest collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger. Therefore, we were hardly shocked when Gigi was unveiled as British Vogue‘s cover girl for March 2017, marking her second appearance on the magazine. Shot by Mario Testino, Gigi does her best bronzed goddess in the summery image, wearing a turquoise dress. She’s joined by brother Anwar Hadid in the accompanying cover story.

The cover left our forum members pleasantly surprised. “I don’t mind this cover at all. Actually, she’s doing some modeling here. But I feel like the editorial is going to be ruined by Anwar because that boy doesn’t look like a model and cannot model either. But the vibe of the cover is sort of a nice change from Vogue UK for once,” wrote TaylorBinque.

“I really like this cover. The pose, the dress, the colors — it works well for me,” noted Oxymore.

“That’s a perfectly beautiful cover, and possibly her best. This will look so great at the newsstand. Gigi is unstoppable, wow,” Miss Dalloway applauded.

LastNight shared the same sentiments, expressing, “I actually really like it. It’s such a dull, grey, miserable day where I am today and this is the injection of color and sunshine that I needed; it’s getting me excited for the spring and summer months, so I guess they’ve done their job properly.”

“In these dark, wet January days, I like the reminder that there are sunny times ahead. She’s looked better – ‘fresher’ – elsewhere, but the orange adds energy, and it’s nice they haven’t airbrushed away her moles,” tigerrouge echoed.

“The pose is amazing, the styling, colors and setting as well. Quite possibly the most sensual cover I’ve seen from British Vogue since their Charlize Theron one. And it’s really gearing me up for summer!” raved Benn98.

Bluestar was quick to confess, “Wow! I actually really like this cover! I’m very surprised as I don’t usually enjoy Gigi’s work but this cover is very nice.”
