The Unstoppable Gigi Hadid Delivers Her Best Cover Yet, for Vogue Japan December (Forum Buzz)

Our favorite fashion glossies continue to declare their love for Gigi Hadid. She’s already made the cover of Vogue Paris this month and can currently be found at your local newsstand fronting American Vogue‘s special edition issue for Fall 2016. Now, it’s Vogue Japan’s turn to embrace Gigi with a new cover for December 2016. Closing out the year on a high, the model-turned-designer was captured wearing a lace Chanel number by photographic duo Luigi and Iango, sending shockwaves through our forums earlier today.

The majority of our forum members were pleasantly surprised. “She is overexposed but I like this shoot she looks good here and I love the makeup,” confessed DutchHomme.

“Not usually a big fan of her, but I think the cover is quite nice,” Sensation admitted in agreement.

“That cover is giving me straight up Karen Mulder circa 1994 vibes. Just STUNNING. Gigi is unstoppable!” exclaimed happycanadian.

Also a fan was TeeVanity. “I am in love with this cover, one of her best,” he expressed.

MON felt the same way too. “What a stunning cover! Gorgeous. Wow. The Hadid sisters delivered the BEST covers of Vogue Japan for 2016. Please stay in this direction,” he pleaded.

“I let out a gasp when I saw the cover. Hands down best she has ever looked!” said dodencebt, fawning over Japanese Vogue‘s latest.

“The cover is faultless, but a bit too vintage for my taste. Her edit is much better, love the neutral shots. Great way to end a year of questionable covers, and I’m glad to see L&I are back to their sensual direction,” pointed out Benn98.

As per usual, Gigi’s presence wasn’t for everyone. “She’s one of the worst models ever and overexposure is an understatement. However, this is a nice photograph of her, thanks to Luigi and Iango,” anlabe32 chimed in.

A great addition of Gigi’s ever-growing portfolio, that’s for sure. See previews of the cover shoot and join the conversation here.
