“I think it is too festive for June, isn’t it? it looks like a Christmas cover… and her decollete looks so inhuman,” writes GlamorousBoy, who clearly wasn’t feeling the cover.
“This looks like a November or January cover or something. Beautiful Kate though so I’m always happy to see her around,” commented honeycombhild.
Miss Dalloway was simply unsatisfied: “Oh my! What is up with June covers?! None of the women on them look their best, what a bad angle, bad layout, bad background…nothing works here. And as if it wasn’t crowded enough, lets put a HUGE banner!”
“There’s a certain hardness to this cover shot that I actually like. It’s a woman who doesn’t seem too impressed by who’s looking at her. Or perhaps it’s the person taking her picture,” wrote tigerrouge.
While I also agree the cover shot is more fitting for a winter cover, I cannot help but love this. It’s different to what the other publications are doing this month. Kate looks incredible and Daniel Jackson has become a credit to American Bazaar.
