One of the more absurd stories currently floating around on the tFS forums concerns Miranda Kerr’s Instagram photos. Forum members have noticed that the Australian top model has posted a picture in which her waist was obviously made slimmer.
“Sending love and best wishes to the #vsangels from Japan xxx ❤,” said the caption to the picture of the former Victoria’s Secret Angel posing with Doutzen Kroes and Alessandra Ambrosio.
“Who is Miranda trying to fool with Photoshop?” asked CommanderTMugler. “That is not her waist, this is the actual picture taken last year by Vogue of Alessandra, Doutzen and Miranda backstage,” he wrote and posted a comparison between the original shot and the version posted on Miranda’s Instagram.
Did Miranda herself manipulate the image or did she find it like that online?
Greenlandgem claims that Miranda has done it before. “I can’t believe no one else has commented on this yet! I noticed starting a while ago that her Instagram photos have been Photoshopped to narrow her waist — as if she needed it anyway. It’s bizarre and totally unnecessary. So disappointing!”
It is, in fact, conspicuous that many pictures on Miranda’s Instagram show her waist looking crazily thin, but would she really go as far as retouching her already slim waist herself?
