The 34-year-old sat down with the hosts to talk about playing the role of Daisy Buchanan in “The Great Gatsby” on Broadway. Sarah Hyland made a stylish appearance in the new segment of the “TODAY with Jenna & Friends” show. The 34-year-old wore the Markarian Multicolour Giada Dark Floral Ikat Off The Shoulder Midi Dress. The chic A-line piece is adorned with a ruffled off-the-shoulder neckline. The grey dress features an all-over floral pattern in hues of blue, cherry, baby pink, and white. The piece comes with a concealed zip fastening at the back.
Meanwhile, Hyland continued to pair the look with sheer black stockings and black pointed-toe pumps. She also donned a long grey trench coat and a pair of dark sunglasses as she stepped out in the city. The “Modern Family” star accessorized the look with a white purse, diamond earrings, and a set of rings. As for her glam, Hyland rocked subtle shimmer and eyeliner and paired the makeup look with rosy cheeks and clear lipgloss.
While appearing on the “TODAY with Jenna & Friends” show, Hyland spoke about playing the role of Daisy Buchanan in “The Great Gatsby” on Broadway. The star recalled she read the book on her own “outside of school for the first time” when she was in the “fourth or fifth grade.” Hyland shared, “Then I read it dozens, maybe even possibly a hundred times before I graduated high school.” The actor also revealed she was “an avid Daisy fan.” Hyland explained that during debates, she would be “defending” the character like her “life depended on it.”
