Michelle Yeoh commanded attention with her futuristic look while attending the “Star Trek: Section 31” premiere in NYC. The actor flaunted an eye-catching, shimmery animal print gown. The dazzling ensemble featured a high neckline and full sleeves. It fit the actor perfectly, accentuating her silhouette in the process. She styled the dress by pairing it with black pointed-toe heels.

When it came to accessories, Yeoh kept it modest by wearing a ring. As for makeup, the actor went with a naturally glamorous look. This comprised of defined and dark eyes, a light pink blush on the cheeks, and a glossy nude lip. Another big highlight of Yeoh’s look was her striking hairstyle, which displayed a dark bob with short and thick bangs.

In “Star Trek: Section 31,” Michelle Yeoh reprised her role as Philippa Georgiou, who is the Terran Empire’s leader in the Mirror Universe. In a recent interview with Etalk, the actor talked about her collaboration with Gersha Phillips, the film’s costume designer, and Balenciaga designer Demna Gvasalia for Yeoh’s armor-like costumes in the film.

Yeoh said, “Costumes are a part of the character and they heighten your performance.” She continued, “With Philippa Georgiou, she becomes this lethal walking weapon with her costume… Between Gersha and Balenciaga/Demna, they found ways to incorporate all that to make Philippa Georgiou like highly fashionable.” To emphasize her point, Yeoh demonstrated how one would react to her character’s clothing. “When she steps out, you just go like ‘Oh god, I wanna wear that, too,'” she said. However, Yeoh also thought it was a “practical” choice since “Georgiou is an engineer” who “knows how to make things work for her.”
