Ariana Grande broke out of her Glinda pink streak at the final premiere of her upcoming film, “Wicked.” Nonetheless, she looked like a fairytale princess in a custom Ralph Lauren ensemble. The gown had a light yellow hue and featured ruffled elements and a flowy pattern. The singer has been keeping herself busy with the film’s promotional tour, which is why she went all out in a different color gown for one final time before the movie hits the screens on November 22.
Ariana Grande channels Disney princess in custom Ralph Lauren gown at final ‘Wicked’ premiere
Ariana Grande channeled her inner Disney princess once again on Monday for the final “Wicked” premiere in London. The singer has been showcasing magical outfits throughout the musical film’s promotional tour. This time around, she got off the Glinda-fied pink bandwagon to choose a custom Ralph Lauren evening gown in a light yellow hue. The outfit featured a sweetheart neckline and boasted elegant silk and tulle fabrics.
While posing in front of the “Wicked” backdrop at the premiere event, the ballerina tulle around the gown dominated the ensemble. This fabric acted as a shawl that covered Grande’s shoulders and arms while also giving a semi-sheer effect. Moreover, the silk gazar, tulle, and organza fabric wrapped around the bodice and the skirt, giving a pleated effect and providing the silk gown with depth and structure. Although the custom creation was simple, the fabric’s masterful tailoring was what took it one step forward.
Ariana Grande paired the outfit with a sophisticated Swarovski crystal necklace and matching stud earrings. Notably, Mimi Cuttrell assembled the singer’s look. MUA Gabor Kerekes tied Grande’s hair into a chic bun to create a sleek look. Meanwhile, makeup artist Michael Anthony gave her a bold eye look with lashes and thick eyeliner, pairing it with a glossy pink lip.
The “Wicked” star has given some iconic fashion moments throughout the film’s promotional tour. In a recent update, she posted a black and white picture of her with co-stars Cynthia Erivo and Jonathan Bailey, celebrating the upcoming release of the movie.
