Taraji P. Henson gave justice to the event as she coalesced glamor with boldness in a black dress that grabbed significant attention. According to Harper’s Bazaar, Wayman + Micah styled the actor, who wore an outfit from Schiaparelli’s Fall/Winter 2024 Ready-to-Wear collection. The dress worked smartly as two different set pieces, each more unique than the other, joined together with a chain around her belly.
The sensational top came with an attached cape, which blended beautifully as part of the upperwear. The turtleneck top featured a risqué cutout beneath the bustline and a long cape that gave the ensemble more volume. Furthermore, the cape blended as part of the top, giving it a full-sleeve effect. Meanwhile, the pencil skirt was attached to the top by a halter-like chain.
Taraji P. Henson also opted for a smart and stylish choice of accessories that matched the gold chain on her outfit. She wore corkscrew-shaped earrings with a dangling pearl. Harper’s Bazaar reports that the accessories also belong to the French Maison’s designs, including the black heels with highlighted gold toes, a new design from the house.
According to WWD, her hair was parted sideways with an orange hue, styled by Tym Wallace. Makeup artist Keita Moore took charge of the actor’s smokey eye, neutral lip tone, and arched brows. Nail stylist Temeka Jackson crafted her pointy golden nails. Overall, stylists Wayman Deon and Micah McDonald assembled her look.
Henson previously opened up about how she got a similar share of orange tint on her hair. In an interview with New York Post’s Alexa, she confessed that she received the color by fluke. The award-winning actor said, “We were trying to go blond, and at about 2 o’clock in the morning when my hair didn’t lift, it kept turning this color. I was like “I guess the universe wants me to be orange.””
Alongside Taraji P. Henson, the Glamour’s Women of the Year Class of 2024 includes Serena Williams, Pamela Anderson, Sydney Sweeney, and others.
