Brooke Shields dazzles in a sparkly gown
Brooke Shields donned a stunning gold gown to attend the Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards. The floor-length dress was made out of a sequin fabric. Featuring a cowl neckline, the shining sleeveless dress also included a dramatic thigh-high slit. Shields completed her red carpet look with matching gold pointed-toe heels. The 59-year-old’s caramel tresses were styled in loose curls.
Meanwhile, Shields’ daughter Rowan Francis Henchy, whom she shares with husband Chris Henchy, joined her mother in a sparkly white-silver gown. The 21-year-old’s off-the-shoulder dress was adorned with shimmering floral embellishments. Rowan kept her accessories minimal as she donned a thin necklace and matching drop earrings.
As the mother-daughter duo attended the red carpet event, Glamour Magazine shared Shields and Rowan’s video on their Instagram. The two shared the story behind their matching tattoos. Shields revealed that she called her daughter “bug” since her birth. “There was nothing but eyes when she came out and so I called her bug,” she added. The mother of two further said she still calls Rowan “bug.”
Later, the actor shared that when her daughter graduated from high school, she asked her mom to get a tattoo with her. Rowan recalled, “Mom’s always love tattoos which is like really cool and chill mom of her.” The 21-year-old explained, “She’s always been like, ‘Something meaningful on your body with ink with loved one.'” She then added, “She has a bunch of tattoos so we kind of did it together.” Rowan shared she has the tattoo on her ankle. Meanwhile, Shields has it on her wrist.
