Amal and George Clooney are embracing Hollywood glam for The Albies red carpet
Amal donned a stunning black floor-length gown at The Albies. The dress featured a sweetheart neckline with a hint of plunge. The fitted gown clung to Amal’s frame and left a subtle train behind her. The 46-year-old accessorized the look with a black clutch and glammed herself up with silver chain drop earrings and several stacked bangles. Amal accentuated the look with red lips and matching nails. The human rights activist also wore her caramel hair down and styled it in soft waves.
Amal’s husband, George, complemented her all-black ensemble with a black tuxedo suit. The actor-filmmaker completed the look with matching shoes and a watch. On the red carpet, George gushed about his wife and told PEOPLE, “I would support anything my wife is involved in.” He shared that Amal is “always on the right side of history.” He added, “I’m always so proud to be in the same room with her no matter what.” George further said that at The Albies, they “focus all the attention on the people who don’t get enough attention.”
The prominent annual event, hosted by the Clooneys, honors courageous defenders of justice. The organization’s website noted that CFJ, founded in 2016, aims to provide free legal support to victims of human rights abuses in over 40 countries.
Today (September 27) Amal and George Clooney will celebrate their 10th wedding anniversary.
