The Kering Foundation invited Dakota Johnson and many A-list celebrities to its third Caring For Women dinner, during New York Fashion Week. Johnson made a bold fashion statement at the dinner as she joined fellow celebrities. The “Madame Web” actress opted for a bold Gucci gown with a mesh bodice with a plunging neckline as she posed for the cameras. Her outfit also included a high-waisted skirt, and she completed her ensemble with minimal accessories.
Dakota Johnson goes braless under mesh bodice at Kering dinner
Dakota Johnson arrived at The Kering Foundation’s Caring For Women dinner in style. At the event, she interacted with popular celebrities like Naomi Watts, Kim Kardashian, Julia Garner, Jason Weinberg, and Ricky Martin. However, the “Persuasion” actress also made a sassy fashion choice by going braless under a sheer mesh bodice that sparkled due to the presence of embedded jewels.
Johnson styled her brown hair straight and tight at the back, allowing for a front straight-cut fringe. She also wore a plain and elegant high-waist skirt as part of the gown. The plain white complemented the sparkles in the bodice well. She further accentuated her look with minimal but regal accessories like a giant ring and dangling pearl earrings.
Johnson previously opened up about her directorial debut with the short film “Loser Baby.” Speaking to Deadline, the actress talked about her intention to direct more in the future. She said, “I loved making this so much and I think it felt incredibly natural and intuitive to me. I am open to making more things, and I don’t know at this stage exactly what.” Johnson continued, “I feel like I have a lot of growth in that department and a lot to learn, and I by no means think I’m ready to go do that, but also I could change my mind about that tomorrow, I don’t know.”
“Loser Baby” follows the journey of a group of friends led by Lizzie (Talia Bernstein) and their exploration of relationships. The movie recently premiered at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
