The highly anticipated horror-comedy “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” is all set to premiere on September 6, 2024. Recently, lead actors Jenna Ortega and Winona Ryder attended the film’s premiere at the prestigious Venice Film Festival.

The event, which is dubbed Italy’s most esteemed red carpet event, will continue from August 28, 2024, to September 7, 2024, and will see a plethora of awaited movie premieres. This includes Maria Callas’ biographical film “Maria,” led by Angelina Jolie, Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix’s “Joker: Folie à Deux,” and “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.” Tim Burton, the original director of 1988’s “Beetlejuice,” returns to direct the sequel.

The sequel comes 36 years after the original film. In the film, Jenna Ortega plays the role of Astrid Deetz. She is the daughter of Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder), the little girl who outsmarted Beetlejuice in the original film. Michael Keaton makes a return as the immoral and cunning demon Beetlejuice.

The onscreen mother-daughter turned heads as they arrived on the red carpet, draped in luxury brands. The “Wednesday” actress was seen gracing a stunning blood red Dior custom dress. She also flaunted a beautiful pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. Winona, on the other hand, donned a black tuxedo vest and paired it with a black coat and black long skirt. Jenna’s dress pays homage to Winona Ryder’s red wedding dress she wore in the original film.

Furthermore, Taylor Russell, Cate Blanchett, and so on were among the popular faces who attended the premiere. The film received a three-minute standing ovation from the attendees.

As seen in the official trailer, the upcoming film follows Lydia Deetz as she faces her worst fear, Beetlejuice. However, this time, she asks for his help to save her daughter. Beetlejuice remains true to his character, pulling pranks on passersby.
