Naomi Campbell is adding vlogger to her already-long list of credentials. The model, activist, singer and actress is sharing more of her personal life through her new YouTube channel series, #BeingNaomi. In her reveal video, she says, “I want to share more of me with you. You get to see me as a real person and the things that mean a lot to me.”
Being one of the most recognized faces in the industry, Campbell has a lot of lessons to share. “This is the day we live in and I want to share the things that I’ve learned, I want to pass it on,” she says. “What’s the point of me keeping all of this stuff in? I want to share it with women across the world and especially women and young women. I want to see the next generation use the things that I’ve said.”
Sometimes we think celebrities are perfect beings, but we forget that they’re actually just humans as well — and Campbell wants to emphasize that. She finishes the video by saying, “I’ve been criticized. I’ve been praised. I’ve always been Naomi and it’s time to share that.”
No release date has been given for her next video, but you can subscribe to Campbell’s YouTube channel for the next notification.
Campbell joins Victoria Beckham, who just (re)launched her Youtube channel. Entering 2019 with stars like Campbell and Beckham on our screens doling out advice feels like a pretty good omen.
