Stella McCartney is known in the fashion industry for her gorgeous and sleek designs, whether it be for evening gowns or her collaboration with sports brand Adidas. But she’s never made her way into bridal wear — until Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle wore a white halter gown by McCartney for her wedding reception.
Now, everyone can emulate the Duchess’ style with an almost identical gown just released as a part of Stella McCartney’s new bridal collection, “Made With Love.”
The 17-piece collection was made for brides to look effortless, confident and sexy. Some of the gowns are simple, while other gown are made with lace and embellishments. Furthermore, unlike other bridal collections, Made With Love has tuxedos and jumpsuits.
“It’s something that I feel very passionately about and is very close to my heart. I think that in this day and age the wedding day is something very different to how it’s traditionally perceived, and I think that the house of Stella McCartney really represents something a little more effortless,” says McCartney.
In keeping with tradition, McCartney added a blue tag with a personal message for the “something blue” needed during a wedding.
