Kim Kardashian Wears Alex Perry on the Cover of Vogue Australia’s June Issue

Hitting stands on Monday 16th May, the issue boasts the first shoot of the reality TV star since she gave birth to her son Saint with husband Kanye West in December.

Keeping a ‘relatively’ low profile since Saint’s coming into this world, the mother, media mogul and pop culture totem has broken her pictorial silence with the Vogue shoot, notwithstanding a studiously attention grabbing appearance at the Met Gala earlier this month.

The shoot sees her sporting a range of different looks and outfits and actually marks local designer Alex Perry‘s first Vogue cover, with Kim wearing a custom Alex Perry corset beneath a loose fitting Yeezy blouse, which is of course her husband, Kanye West’s line.

It wasn’t all Perry though – not by a long shot – with Kim also wearing ten custom made corsets in the shoot styled by Vogue Australia fashion director Christine Centenera and shot by Lachlan Bailey.

Opening up about everything from her heroes (“My dad was, for sure”) to her biggest guilty pleasure (“beignets from New Orleans”) in the article, with Mother’s Day just passed Kim even had some kind words for her mum Kris.

“I want to live her life and be successful, work hard and still have so many kids — and still take care of everyone else.”

Asked what she would do if she weren’t famous, she replied, “I would be a forensic investigator and live a normal life.”
