Who knew Kim Kardashian’s Snapchat would be so entertaining? Launched on March 9, Kim’s snaps are the Kim and Kanye Take LA show that never made it to TV.
Kanye famously barred E! Network from filming North West on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, but she has plenty of cameos on Kim’s Snapchat. There’s North adorably saying she’s scared of the filters on Snapchat (which she pronounces “Chop Chop”) and later, she’s chastising Ariel while watching The Little Mermaid (“Are you serious?” she asks the Disney princess, clearly taking after her father). She also gives her stuffed animals glamorous makeovers.
But Kanye West is the real star of the show. In a series of snaps that feel like the Wests’ version of Carpool Karaoke, we see the couple driving through LA and singing along to The Life of Pablo.
With the camera on her, Kim seductively mouths the words to the few lyrics she can remember. But Kanye is completely uninhibited. He’s just as hyperactive as he is performing onstage, bouncing around so aggressively that you sometimes wonder if he’s the one that should be driving. When Kanye’s not jamming out to his own songs, he performs tunes by Future and Justin Bieber. We can only hope Adele, Nicki Minaj and One Direction are on his list.
