Every day, we are reminded just how real the Kardashian-Jenner publicity machine is. Today we are handed another reminder, courtesy of Forbes, which has just released its list of the world’s highest-paid models. Of course, Gisele Bündchen one again comes in on top, having amassed $44 million this year (last year, her fortune was calculated at $47 million), leaps and bounds from Cara Delevingne, who ties second place having made $9 million, which is way up from her $3.5 million listing last year. Delevingne shares her spot with Adriana Lima, who is followed by Doutzen Kroes at $7.5 million.

But the big news, of course, surrounds Kendall Jenner, who is a newcomer to the list (as well as the youngest), having made $4 million last year. Not bad for someone who first hit a high fashion catwalk last February. Forbes credits her contracts with Estée Lauder and Calvin Klein for the bulk of her millions. Her several endorsements and her line with Topshop also didn’t hurt her earnings this year. With Kendall’s massive social media following and the tireless work her momager Kris Jenner does to keep her and her sisters in the press, we have no doubt that we’ll be seeing Kendall on this list in years to come, probably with even more money in her pocket.
