If you want a little Alex Perry in your life but don’t want to spend the same some-thousand dollars that celebs do, you’re in luck. Well, kind of.
Alex Perry has launched budget label ALX together with co-designer and stylist Trevor Stones, championing femme and flirty styles for the 15-25 year old girl who “wants to be the leader of the pack and the centre of attention.”

If you were hoping for lace panels and divine embellishments fit for your next lavish outing, we’re sorry to disappoint you but this range is more florals, leathers, biker vests and casual T-shirts.
The cheaper price tag comes with a compromise, as Alex had to forgo French seams and corsetry and detailed shapes. The silhouettes of ALX are much simpler than those of Alex’s namesake luxe label, Alex Perry, taking half the time to make in just four hours.
Alex even told news.com.au that he ventured to “dodgy” nightclubs to see what all the kiddies were wearing out and about town. “Girls want to feel sexy and you can’t tell an 18-year-old girl going to a nightclub to wear a ladylike dress,” he explained.

“They want to be more provocative in tight dresses and we’re doing it with fashion integrity,” he continued. “We don’t want them to look cheap — we want them to feel like cool, sexy, fashion girls.”
The first ALX collection will feature 30 styles with prices ranging from $195 to $450, and will drop into local and international retailers from February 2016.
