Ultimate poser Coco Rocha has been announced as the official event ambassador of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Sydney (MBFFSYD) 2015.
The international supermodel will walk the red carpet for the opening night at Sydney Town Hall, and will sit front row for her favourite locals labels, including Christopher Esber, Ginger & Smart and Dion Lee, in the Australian Luxe show. Coco will join the Aussie fashion media and VIP guests in the Mercedes-Benz star lounge after the runway presentation.
“I have always loved visiting Sydney. It’s such a beautiful harbour city, and the perfect place to relax in between shows,” Coco said in a news release. “I can’t wait to see what all the Australian designers have store with their latest collections.”
Horst von Sanden, the Managing Director of Mercedes-Benz Cars and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Australia/Pacific, is “thrilled” to have Coco on board for the festival’s eighth year.
“Coco embodies the modern woman – stylish, successful and innovative, all hallmarks of Mercedes-Benz 20 year commitment to fashion,” Horst said.
Coco will also design a one-off custom Mercedes-Benz SL 300 pedal car for the Mercedes-Benz Pedal Car Project, to be unveiled at MBFFSYD and auctioned off post-event to raise funds for Brainwave Australia.
MBFFSYD will be taking place from September 24 to 26. Limited tickets are available on opening night, September 24, for your chance to sit alongside Coco and Australia’s A-list.
