Lisa Hyde’s The Bachelor S3, Ep 7 Low-Down: ‘I’ve Cracked The Bachelor Code’

Moving forward, Emily finally got the single date she was waiting for and by the expression on her face, it looks like she doesn’t give a shit — well that is what the other ladies think anyway!

I see Emily as a little more reserved, perhaps more mature than the others. I kind of like how she doesn’t go completely gaga over Sam, as it actually comes across as more genuine.

I can totally relate to the way Emily is acting. You put yourself in the most vulnerable position. You don’t want to let yourself be walked over by completely putting everything on the line this early, especially as this is only her first date. And what a perfect setting for a little romance — paddle boarding, treasure hunt, picnic — what more could a girl ask for?

A diamond bracelet? Sure, why not? It’s clear that Sam and the rest of Australia think Emily is a total hottie, but I just don’t know if she is the right girl for Sam.

Group date time and everyone got the memo to wear jeans and flannos. Why? Because Sam is testing the ladies’ skills on the farm.

This date really made me laugh. Like, what the hell is apple bobbing? Well, it quickly turned into a wet T-shirt comp, and once again Heather is determined to win.

I don’t know what it is about Heather. I really want to like the girl, there is just something about her that annoys me. Maybe because she gives off that stalker-ish vibe… anyone feel the same?

The girls are then tested by having to chase and shear some sheep. C’mon, Jasmine, I know life is tough but it’s not that hard to give it a go.

Sam spends a lot of time with Heather on this group date, but it’s not until he pulls Snezana away that I suddenly realise what I have been watching. I’ve worked it out. Does anyone else just feel like they know who Sam ends up with? Holy crap, who could it be?

Let me just give you the low-down. So, my top three front runners were Heather, Emily and Snezana. Emily went on the single date, he clearly finds her attractive, but he wanted to get to know her more. When that didn’t happen he felt extremely confident going into the group date knowing that either Heather or Snezana would win his heart.

Sam really likes Heather, that much is clear, but does he see their relationship just a friendship? I think so, because he has two chances to kiss Heather on this group date and he doesn’t. Why? Because he had been waiting to kiss Snezana all day. It is clear they have a “connection”, and I think I am a genius.

This theory may only last until he is kissing someone else tomorrow night, but who cares. Tonight I feel like I’ve cracked The Bachelor code.

No Cocktail Party? What? How am I supposed to write a fashion recap without a cocktail party? Osher, can you please do something about this?

It comes down to Nina and Jasmine in a suspense-filled rose ceremony — who could it be? Please pick Nina. Please pick Nina.

Oh, I’m on the money tonight people. Nina it is and we say goodbye to Jasmine.

See you tomorrow night!
