Remember when we told you about her ground-breaking campaign work for fitness brand Manifesta and eco handbag line everMaya?
Well, the two brands have extended invitations to the bubbly redhead to walk in their upcoming September events. This marks the first time a model with Down syndrome has ever booked two shows at NYFW, and it’s a first for an Australian model with Down syndrome.
A big congratulations to @Madelinesmodel1, the first Australian Down syndrome model to walk at New York Fashion Week. http://t.co/nLsd5Ahl1u

Madeline is overjoyed to make her NYFW debut, according to her mother, Roseanne, who told Cosmopolitan, “It is very exciting and it’s going to take her from one level to the next.”
She continued, “I know (American Horror Story actress who also has Down syndrome) Jamie Brewer did it in February, but she is a movie star, she’s not a model. With Madeline, this is her career, so I think it’s going to be a great platform for her.”
This is a huge step for Madeline’s career, as her mother explained, “There hadn’t been anyone who chased this dream, whereas Madeline really chased it. She wanted this and she worked hard for it.”
The hard work is truly paying off.
Way to go, Madeline. We couldn’t be prouder of you.
