Iggy Azalea may have faced a few career setbacks in recent months, but at least she can rest assured that her BFF Demi Lovato isn’t going to be coming for her signature rapping style anytime soon.
In a new video promoting her latest single, “Cool For the Summer”, Demi caught up with iHeartRadio, answering questions picked out of a sombrero and delivering a not-so-convincing impression of our very own Iggy-Iggs. If we’re honest, she sounded kind of British rather than Aussie with an American twang.
The friendship between the Aussie rapper and the former Disney darling has been growing steadily over the past two years. As you might recall they both attended that Halloween party where Iggy dressed up as a character from White Chicks and Demi as Lucille Ball (not to mention a bonus J-Lo).
We’re sure Iggy doesn’t have any hard feelings towards Demi for this impersonation. After all, the “Really Don’t Care” singer is going to be a bridesmaid at her upcoming nuptials to fiancé Nick Young. That’s right, after witnessing their engagement, Demi insisted on being a bridesmaid and Iggy agreed on one condition: that she sing at the couple’s reception. Sounds like a fair deal to us.
