E!’s Fashion Police has been at the center of so much controversy as of late, some of which is to blame for the departure of two of their hosts, Kelly Osbourne and Kathy Griffin. But though the show has been going through its share of troubles, not to mention criticism on how they ream celebrities’ style choices, the show isn’t going anywhere. And neither is Giuliana Rancic, whose off-color joke about Zendaya’s locs at the Oscars is part of what got the show in hot water in the first place.
The hostess told Access Hollywood that Fashion Police would be back in the fall to cover the Emmys. “I think more than ever, (Fashion Police) is definitely coming back, because (the Zendaya controversy and Kelly Osbourne’s departure) shows that a lot of people were watching the show and enjoyed the show,” she said.
Rancic says that both she and Brad Goreski will be back, though they are looking for cast members to replace the vacated seats of Osbourne and Griffin. Rancic also said that issues with the cast members were boiling under the surface before “smells like weed”-gate. “There were issues, a lot of people had problems with the new season before it aired without Joan [Rivers] there,” she explained. “There were just a lot of problems. I don’t know what was behind these moves.”
We’ll be looking forward to see who joins the cast come this fall.
