Located at the London Serpentine Gallery, the exhibition takes you on a journey through the brand’s heritage right back to the moment it was founded by the hosiery manufacturer Robert Pringle in 1815. As archival pieces fuse with the brand’s latest campaign shots within the exhibition, it’s amazing to see just how much Pringle of Scotland has evolved over the centuries. From its early lingerie molds to the Princess Grace of Monaco’s iconic cable-knit sweater, all of the pieces join together to form the heritage of a brand we have come to love.
Further highlights include its very latest campaign shot by Albert Watson and the début of three videos featuring dancers from the Michael Clark Company demonstrating how knitwear moves on dancers’ bodies.
If you can’t make it to London to catch the exhibition, it will also be calling the National Museum of Scotland its home from April 10 to August 16.
