A few weeks after announcing that Lilly Pulitzer would be its next design collaboration, which will include a plus-sized range and home furnishings, Target has announced that color cosmetics will also be a part of the collection. This marks the first time any of the retailer’s designer collaborations have included a beauty component.
Jessica Carlson, a spokeswoman for Target, told WWD, “With this offering, we are extending our style collaboration in a new way. And doing color cosmetics with a partner known for its bright prints made perfect sense.”
The cosmetics in the collection will include nine shades of L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Extraordinaire Lipstick at a price of $7.99 each and nine shades of Essie nail polish, which will each retail for $8.49. The assortment will hit Target’s 1,801 locations and Target.com on April 19.
