We hope Karl Lagerfeld’s private plane is all fueled up because he will be doing a lot of traveling this year now that Chanel has announced it will put on shows in New York City, Seoul and Rome. The French fashion house is set to show its Paris-Salzburg Métiers d’Art show again in New York City come March 31. There is no word as to whether or not the models from the first show, namely Cara Delevingne and Kendall Jenner, will be walking this time around, but it should be quite a spectacle, as Chanel shows tend to be.
In May, Chanel will be off to Seoul to present the cruise collection at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza, a cultural center housing shops, conference and art halls, as well as a wealth of other spaces. Architects Zaha Hadid and Samoo designed the building, which looks like something out of a Star Trek movie with its fluid shape.
Come December 1, the label will show its Métiers d’Art collection in Rome.
That’s quite a few stamps for the Chanel passport!
