Richard Nicoll Won’t Show at London Fashion Week Next Month

After the disappointing news that designer Richard Nicoll wouldn’t be showcasing at London Collections: Men this season, we’ve learned that he’s pulling out of London Fashion Week’s Fall 2015 schedule.

Nicoll is loved for his one-size-fits-all trademark, his geometric cuts and use of inventive fabrics, but it seems that the difficult world of fashion has swallowed him up somewhat. In a recent interview with WWD, Nicoll explained that he’s found the increased number of seasons and commercial pressures difficult to deal with. So much so that he said, “I felt the need to pause and think of the best and most relevant way forward for now.”

In light of his honest words, it seems that the designer is taking a much needed break to revise his business strategy and gather a bit of design inspiration, but rest assured that he promises to relaunch his label for Resort 2016. We’re sure that celebrity fans, like Daisy Lowe, will be eagerly counting down the days.
