Last night, Ellen DeGeneres took a seat on the People’s Choice Awards red carpet as she waited for her wife, Portia de Rossi, to take solo “fashion shots” for the press. “I’m asked to move aside because I don’t put the effort into my clothes, apparently,” she told E! News correspondent Giuliana Rancic. But we’re going to come out and say that’s not entirely the truth, especially considering what Ellen was wearing.
The TV host paired a crisp white Saint Laurent button down with a cream colored bomber jacket and trousers from her forthcoming E.D. lifestyle brand. We’d say pairing high and low is a total fashion girl move, even if Ellen doesn’t consider herself one.
The comedienne says E.D.’s clothing line will launch in May, for which we will be patiently waiting.
